Q2 2024 Android Dinosaur Games Performance in the US

In the second quarter of 2024, the Android platform saw various dinosaur-themed games vying for users' attention. Sensor Tower's data gives us a glimpse into how five key players performed in this competitive arena.

Mecha Domination: Rampage, launched by 37GAMES, showed a strong start with downloads peaking at 3.37M in mid-April before tapering off to 690K by late June. Revenue followed a similar trend, with a notable spike to $8.7M in late May. Weekly active users started at 4.04M but saw a slight decline to 3.71M by the end of June.

Another title from the same publisher, Primal Conquest: Dino Era, demonstrated steadier figures. Downloads hovered around the mid-thousands, peaking at 1.5M in early April, while revenue saw a gradual decrease from $1.17M to $404K. Weekly active users showed a slight decline from 976K to 689K over the quarter.

De-Extinction: Jurassic by SeaMo Entertainment experienced moderate performance with an initial revenue of $1.58M that rose to $3.75M in mid-May, followed by a fluctuation and a final uptick to $2.17M. Downloads were strongest at 879K in mid-May, and weekly active users saw growth from 276K to a peak of 495K before settling at 378K.

Dino Transform Robot Games from Robot Life Games, despite generating no revenue, maintained a consistent user base. Downloads showed a peak at 871K at the end of April, and weekly active users reached their highest at 1.5M, also in April, before ending the quarter at 1.2M.

Lastly, Homa's Merge Master: Dinosaur Monster saw varied download numbers, with a peak of 639K in mid-June. The game's active users started strong at 2.86M but dipped to 2.62M by the end of the quarter, with a slight revenue of $24K reported in the last week of June.
